Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, testing, and maintenance of hydraulic systems used in high-performance industrial mixing and processing equipment. Our equipment serves customers in the chemical, paint, coatings, ink, adhesive, sealant, and specialty materials industries, requiring reliable, safe, and efficient hydraulic power and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize hydraulic systems for industrial mixers, dispersers, and processing equipment.
  • Select and size hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, and control components.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems in manufacturing and field applications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and service teams to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Support equipment testing, commissioning, and customer installations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hydraulic system design and engineering.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and control systems.
  • Experience with hydraulic circuit design and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with fluid power simulation software.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment industries.
